Tom Sellers, 74 of Sun City, passed away on Sep 25, 2015 with his family by his side. Tom joined the US Navy retiring in 1980 after 21 years of honorable service. He then joined the Federal Civilian Workforce and retired as the Director of Contingency Planning and Management for the General Services Administration in June 2005. Throughout his life, Tom was an avid supporter and participant in Masonic Youth Programs in both Panama and Virginia. He was a member of the Panama Canal Scottish Rite Bodies and the District Grand Lodge of the Panama Canal; and a past Chapter Advisor of both Pacific Chapter (Panama) and Lord Fairfax Chapter (Virginia) Order of DeMolay. In retirement, he continued to serve his country and community as a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 10-11 in Hilton Head, SC.
Tom's commitment and devotion to his family was unwavering. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Ev Sellers; daughters Charlotte Klimchock of Newport News, VA, and Dawn Savoca of Manassas,VA; sons Thomas M Sellers of Vienna, VA and Dave Sellers of Tysons Corner, VA; eight grandchildren and his sister Sandy Kargaard of Lake Murray, SC.
