Treva J. Cretcher

Treva J. Cretcher, 84 of Bluffton and wife of Paul J. Cretcher, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at her home.She was born in Clayton, OH on June 29, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruth Lightner Wetzel. She moved to Bluffton from Seminole, FL sixteen years ago and worked at the Patio Shoppe in Bluffton.She is survived by her husband, Paul J. Cretcher; her son, John J. Cretcher and his spouse, Suzanne of Winter Haven, FL; her daughters, Diana L. deYampert and her spouse, Ken Howerton, Bluffton and Joan Carter, Bluffton; her brother, Albert Wetzel, Clayton, OH; her sisters, Marie Price, Brookville, OH, Wilma Brandenburg, Tarpon Springs, FL, Ruth Farley, Loma, CO and Peggy Vorhees, Thousand Oaks, CA; her grandchildren, Laura Blencoe, Beaufort, Paula Kilgore, Jennifer Stokes and Julia Gwynn all of Bluffton, Janna Dalton, Powell, OH, Kirsten Swiger, Jacksonville, NC, Paul Andrew Cretcher, Winter Haven, FL and William Cretcher, Winter Springs, FL and nine great grandchildren.The family requests that memorial gifts be made in memory of Treva J. Cretcher to Island Hospice, 300 New River Parkway, Suite 7, Hardeeville, SC 29927.A private family service will be held at a later date.
