Ulric "Big Joe" Joseph

Ulric “Big Joe” Joseph, 82, of Ridgeland, SC passed away July 27, 2022 at his home.

Big Joe was born December 6, 1939 in Trinidad, WI to the late Clarence Joseph and Josephine Lazarus Joseph. He was a baptized member of St. Luke’s Baptist Church and enjoyed sports, politics, and dancing. He loved to eat and have fun!

Big Joe is survived by his wife, Irabelle Bolden Joseph of Ridgeland; son, Andre Joseph and daughter, Najwa Joseph, both of New York City, NY; sister, Molly Jack of Trinidad; grandchildren, Adrian, Ajee, Andrea, Kennidy, Taylor, Andre, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Kassidy and Kyrie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew and Jojo; and sisters, Sylvia, Syble, Alice, Pearlie, and Grace.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 4, 2022 at St. Luke's Church in Okatie, SC.
