Vaida Vipulis

Vaida Vipulis, age 77, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Cold Spring-on-Hudson, NY died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA. Mrs. Vipulis was born on October 31, 1938 in Liepaja, Latvia, the daughter of the late Adolfs Grienvalds and Emilia Austra Kurzeme Antico. She worked for many years as a dental hygienist. She retired to Bluffton where she was active with the Sew What Club of Sun City. Mrs. Vipulis is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Valdis Vipulis; daughter, Donna V. Lacis (Edmunds) of Hong Kong; son, John V. Vipulis (Lisa Jaime) of Las Vegas, NV; and her grandchildren, John M. Vipulis and Bruno K. Vipulis. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
