Vernon L. Phillips

Bluffton, S.C.- Vernon L. Phillips, 62, died Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.He was born in Salisbury, Maryland, the son of Louise and the late Robert Phillips. He enjoyed working and fast cars, and loved spending time with his family.Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Brenda Phillips; son, David (Cheryl) Phillips; Grandchildren: Madison Phillips, Jessie Ray, and Logan Phillips all of Bluffton, SC; a brother, Richard (Roseann) Phillips of Centerville, MD; Sisters: Patsy (Ronnie) Fearins of Preston, MD, and Janet Anderson of Salisbury, MD.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m, Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC.
