Vianery H. Garcia Barrientos

November 5, 1994 — January 4, 2014

Vianery H. Garcia Barrientos, 19, of Bluffton, South Carolina, died January 4th at 11:10 AM at Savannah Memorial Hospital, where her heart took its last beat. Vianery was born on November 5th, 1994, in the city of Chilpancingo, which is located in the state of Guerrero, in Mexico. She was the daughter of Evelia Barrientos and Gilberto Garcia. She was sister to Irwin, Edgar, and Danny. She was the youngest of four. She had a love for fashion, music, family and her "fur baby", Cronus. Vianery was an individual who believed that life was truly beautiful. She had recently graduated from Hilton Head High School and had been working over the summer at the Salty Dog Ice Cream Shop on Hilton Head to save up for a car. She was excited to start planning her future and had just begun debating on which colleges to apply for, always making sure she wouldn't be far from home. Being the only girl, she made up for it by perfecting her techniques in makeup, having the most eclectic taste in music, and being the most "diva" a 19 year old could be. Vianery had a passion for fashion and beauty; and her brothers' routines usually began with, "What are you wearing?" She loved all types of music, especially country, and would always refer to herself as "Hic-spanic." She would always go out of her way to make the unhappiest of people smile. She was fearless, and did goofy things to make people laugh, often creating unforgettable memories. She was free-spirited and usually went from place to place spreading joy with her beautiful smile. Vianery could always be found jogging at Jarvis Creek Park with her dog, Cronus. She was on a mission to be "the best looking bridesmaid" at the wedding of her brother Edgar and his fiancé, Devon Hobbs, of Savannah. Vianery was helping Devon plan the whole wedding - which has been postponed, and will be held in Vianery's honor. Vianery was a very unique, funny and outgoing girl. She loved harder than anyone else. She had the best taste in music, movies, and fashion, and always had a way of lifting a person's spirits. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. The family would also like to thank the nurses of the Trauma ICU at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah for taking great care of Vianery, by washing and braiding her hair to keep her feeling like a pampered diva to her last days. Her memorial service will be held at Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910 at 12PM on Saturday, January 11th. The family wants to celebrate the life of a vibrant and colorful young woman, rather than mourn her death. So the family has requested that no one wear black, and prefers people to wear white if possible.
