Vincent G. Bollino (85), of Hilton Head, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, June 16, 2025.

Vince was born December 14, 1939, in Frostburg, MD to the late Vincent C. Bollino and Mary Wells Bollino.  Vince was a graduate of Beall High School in Frostburg, MD.  Following graduation, he received his Bachelor's Degree from Frostburg University and later a Master's Degree from Bowie State College.  He met his beloved wife, Mary Frances (Fran) Gross in 1967 and married on October 14, 1967.  Together they raised their family in Edgewater, MD.  Vince proudly served his country in the Navy Reserves, graduated from Officers Training and spent four years in active duty in the United States Navy, to include one year in Vietnam.  He was honorably discharged as Lieutenant.  He spent his career as a teacher, an administrator, and Director of VoTech.  Vince and Fran moved to the Lowcountry in 2003.

Vince loved life and had a wonderful sense of  humor.  He enjoyed coaching sports while their children were growing up.  He loved golf, dancing and being out on the water.  He was a member of The Church of the Cross in Bluffton, and volunteered at God's Goods.  He and Fran were ushers at the church for several years.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, Vince is survived by daughter Lisa Meiggs (Seth) of Prince Frederick, MD, and son Vincent A. (Crystal) of Hilton Head, SC; grandchildren Derek, Nathan, Mary Beth, Vincent R., Alexis, and Ella; Sisters Antoinette of Frederick, MD and Yvonne of Crofton, MD and brother Joseph of Owings, MD.   He was proceeded in death by his brother, Christopher.

A celebration of life service will be held at The Church of the Cross on 110 Calhoun Street, Bluffton, on July 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
