Vincent James Tartamella, 93 of Hilton Head Island, SC died Tuesday June 14, 2011 at the Hawthorne Inn.Jim was born October 28, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York to newly emigrated Sicilian parents, Salvatore and Rosalie Matise Tartamella. As a child he spent his days playing and working with his four siblings in his parents' produce market on Flatbush Avenue. It was there he developed his intensely strong work ethic and appreciation for doing a job
