Virginia Ann Collier (Cash), age 92, of Bluffton, South Carolina, formerly of Paris, Illinois, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side. She was born on March 27, 1934, in Paris, Illinois.

Virginia lived a life rooted in faith, love, and laughter. She had a deep devotion to her family and to God, and she found joy in the simple, everyday moments—often sharing humor that brought smiles to those around her. She cherished music and especially enjoyed live entertainment at the Paris Twin Parks. She also loved playing bingo with friends and took great delight in sending and receiving birthday and holiday cards, always thinking of others. She loved sharing her memories and stories of family.

Virginia worked at the local printing press, The Colson Company, before retiring early after bravely battling many health setbacks. After spending 86 years in Paris, she made the heartfelt decision to move to Bluffton, South Carolina, to be closer to her beloved family.

She was preceded in death by her husband,William “Bill” Collier, and her daughter, Debbie (Haws) Abbott.

Virginia is survived by her granddaughter, Alyssa Pressley, and her great-grandchildren, Easton (10) and Everly (6), who were a constant source of pride and joy in her life.

Virginia will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love of family, and her ability to find light and laughter in everyday life. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Presbyterian Church of Paris, Illinois.
