Zenith M. IngramRidgeland, SCVirginia Zenith Malphrus Ingram, 67, loving and devoted mother and grandmother, died Thursday, November 8, 2007 at her home in Ridgeland, SC.She was born in Ridgeland, SC on May 16, 1940 to Charles Edward Malphrus and Telie Rebecca Langford Malphrus. She served as Executive Director of Jasper County Development Board for over 25 years; Director of Jasper County Chamber of Commerce. Throughout her many years of service to The Jasper Water and Soil Conservation District, she served on the Board and devoted much of her time and energy maintaining and beautifying The Blue Heron Nature Trail and Butterfly Garden. She was the first Chairperson of The Gopher Hill Festival and served on the committee in various capacities for several years. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in various callings during her life. She was an avid volunteer for many organizations in Jasper County and will be sadly missed for her enthusiasm and dedication to countless charities. She had a love for traveling and gardening.She is survived by her mother, Rebecca L. Malphrus of Ridgeland, SC; three sons, Ed Ingram of Jaco Beach, Costa Rica; Ashley (Heather) Ingram of Lemon Island, SC and Charlie Ingram of Ridgeland, SC; one daughter, Telie (Paul) White of Muscle Shoals, AL and one brother, C. E. (Cheryle) Malphrus of Okatie, SC; thirteen grandchildren, Valerie Ingram, Erica White, Chaz Ingram, Hayden White, Emalie Ingram, Katie Ingram, Justin White, Jake Ingram, Haley Ingram, Jackson Ingram, Ryan White, Trevor Ingram and Adam Ingram. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Malphrus and her granddaughter, Lauren Telie White.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, November 12, 2007 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Ridgeland, SC with burial in the Grahamville Cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday, November 11, 2007 from 5 til 7 pm at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams Street, Ridgeland, SC.
