Virginia Montgomery

Virginia Neel Montgomery, 98, died peacefully early Sunday, June 24, 2012 on Hilton Head Island, SC. She was the wife of the late James Harold (Smack) Montgomery for 66 years. Virginia was a former resident of Garden Avenue, Grove City, PA for 40 years. Recently she made her home in Northern Virginia and Hilton Head Island, SC with her son, Robert. She was born in Greenville, PA on April 12, 1914 to J. Merrill and Bessie Baker Neel. She is survived by her son, Robert, daughter in law, Elizabeth of Hilton Head, three grandsons; five great grandchildren and one brother.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the J.H. Montgomery Scholarship fund at Gove City College, 100 Campus Drive, Grove City, PA 16127 or to the charity of your choice.
