He was the son of the late Luther and Maggie Strickland Hilton. He was the manger of BiLo of Hilton Head on Matthews Drive; he was a Baptist and he enjoyed horse racing.He is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn Hilton of Bluffton, SC; two daughters, Jessie Hilton of Greenwood, SC and Tricia Hilton of Columbia, SC; one brother and sister in law, Joe and Josie Hilton of Columbia, SC; two sisters in law, Cindy Chapman of Rome, GA and Janie Maddox of Silver Creek, GA; two brothers in law, Michael Rucker of Powder Springs, GA and Tony Rucker of Flowery Branch, GA; one nephew, Shayne Hilton of Columbia, SC and one niece, Shelly Shealy of Chapin, SC.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 27, 2007 in the Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC with burial in the Low Country Memorial Gardens, Bluffton, SC.
