Wanda Whittle Yarbrough Twitty

Wanda Whittle Yarbrough Twitty, 80, of Gillisonville, SC passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024.

Born February 27, 1945 in Columbia, SC, Wanda was raised by her uncle and aunt, Nathaniel Pickens Jones, Jr. and Annabelle Jackson Jones. She spent her years of employment as a laboratory technician in the medical field.

Wanda was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her son, James (Chris) Yarbrough of Greenville, SC and several nieces. She also leaves behind her loving companion of many years, Walter Watts, and a dear friend, Donna Cleland. She will be greatly missed by many.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Gillisonville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm at Gillisonville Baptist Church until the time of the service at the cemetery.
