Warren Lawton Smith, 73, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at his home in Tillman, SC.He was born on October 25, 1939 in Savannah, GA to the late Edward Lee Smith and Emily Willa Gaylord Smith.He was a Maintenance Engineer for Callawassie Island, SC Highway Dept. and Sea Pines Plantation. He was a member of Tillman Baptist Church.He is survived by his grandson, Roy T. (Brittany) Grantham of Coosawhatchie, SC; granddaughter, Sophia Grantham; brother, Edward M. Smith of Eden, GA and sister, Nancy Smith, also of Eden, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Smith.A graveside memorial service will be held, beginning 11:00 am at Floyd Cemetery in Tillman, SC on Saturday, March 2, 2013.Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangements.
