Wayne Ray Pitney, Sr.

Wayne Ray Pitney, Sr., 77, of Bluffton, SC passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at his home.

Wayne was born December 6, 1942 in Rockville, CT to the late Raymond Pitney and Leona Rhodes Pitney. He worked as the lead custodian for the Somers, CT School District. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, and traveling. He was a Christian.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann B. Pitney; son, Wayne Ray Pitney, Jr. of Bluffton; daughter, Debbie Avery (Bob) of Pensacola, FL; and grandchildren, Gage Ray Peter Pitney, Monica Homenchak, Christina Hammond, and Josh Avery.

Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton is assisting the family with arrangements.
