He was the son of the late Wilbur R. and Edna Malphrus Cleland.He was a retired supervisor for Waste Management Corporation. Since his retirement, he was employed by Carolina Air and Cleland Site Prep. He was a member of Gillisonville Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Donna E. Cleland of Gillisonville, SC; three sons, Christopher Cleland and Eric Cleland of Ridgeland, SC; Wilbur R. (Leighann) Cleland, III of Grays, SC; one daughter, Kelly Cleland (Phillip) Gipson of Ft. Knox, KY and six grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Gillisonville Baptist Church with burial in Gillisonville Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 beginning 12:30 pm until the hour of service at the church. Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
