Wilfred L. Hines

Wilfred L. Hines, 75, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at his home.He was born in New York City on October 26, 1933. He was the son of the late Wilfred and Marion Burrill Hines.He was a Stationary Engineer for the Board of Education in New York City. He was a US Navy veteran.He is survived by his wife, Noreen Ann W. Hines of Bluffton, SC; two sons, Michael P. (Lita) Hines of Chula Vista, CA and Matthew S. Hines of Jensen Beach, FL; two daughters, Desiree Spada of Newington, CT and Layna (Terry) Jordan of South Windsor, CT; one sister, Linda (Tom) Brown of Palm Bay, FL and six grandchildren.Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, January 19, 2009 in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 17, 2009 from 2 til 4 and 6 til 8 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC and Sunday, January 18, 2009 from 2 til 4 at the Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to Tidewater Hospice, 181 Bluffton Rd., Suite B102, Bluffton, SC 29910.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
