Willa Faye Bastin

Willa Faye Bastin, born March 16, 1932, passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 92. She was a loving mother, cherished sister, and devoted wife to General Joffre Bastin, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.

Faye was one of five sisters and was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Velma Mushin and her sister Elaine Johnson, (Glen). She is survived by her sisters Thelma Elliott ( D.G.) , Bobbie Gail Morgan (Marcus), Carolyn Simpson (Jack) and her children Dave Bastin ( Lori ) and Kimberly Wilhite (Tim) ; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Faye graduated from Middleburg High School in Middleburg, Kentucky and attended Campbellsville University. She retired from Avon Company in Data Processing.

Her kindness, compassion, and selflessness were the hallmarks of her life, inspiring those around her. Faye’s strength and beauty radiated from within, and her genuine warmth and smile were admired by many.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will continue to inspire her family and friends. Her life was a testament to the power of compassion and the enduring strength of her steadfast faith in our Lord and Savior.

A celebration of Willa Faye Bastin’s life will be held to honor her memory and the love she shared with all. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
