Willard A. (Bud) Land

Willard Aubrey (Bud) Land, 73, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010 in the Hilton Head Medical Center, Hilton Head Island, SC.He was born in Warrenton, Georgia on February 28, 1937. He was the son of the late Otis and Beatrice McGahee LandHe was a Line Supervisor for Palmetto Electric Cooperative for thirty nine years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluffton where he served as a Deacon. He loved his family.He is survived by his wife, Shelby Dean Land of Bluffton, SC; two sons, J. Rogers (Penny) Land of Sevier, TN and Monty W. (Melissa) Land of Bluffton, SC; two brothers, W. C. Land of Warrenton, GA and John (Jeanette) Land of Thomson, GA; one sister, Annie Florence Burton of Thomson, GA; four grandchildren, Joshua Land, Courtney Land, Brooke Land and Devin Cowell; and one niece, Jodi King of Griffin, GA.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC with burial in the Gillisonville Cemetery, Ridgeland, SC. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
