William Lester (Bill) Meador

William Lester (Bill) Meador, 83, of Hardeeville, SC died Saturday, June 7, 2008 in the Candler Hospital, Savannah, GA.He was born in Conyers, GA on March 30, 1925. He was the son of the late U.L. Meador and Lucille Fee Meador. He was a master building contractor craftsman. He was a member of the Maye River Baptist Church, Bluffton, SC. He was a US Navy veteran of the Pacific during World War II and served on the USS John C. Butler DE 339. He was past master of the Richard T. Turner Masonic Lodge #116 of Bloomingdale, GA.He is survived by his wife, Jeane Wood Meador of Hardeeville, SC; three sons, Billy (Dora) Meador, Keith (Carol) Meador and George (Robin) Meador all of Hardeeville, SC; three daughters, Ginny Daley of King
