William Grayson CopeRidgeland, SCWilliam Grayson Cope, 84, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Ridgeland Nursing Center in Ridgeland, SC.He was born in Ridgeland, SC on November 1, 1925 to the late Elliott L. Cope and Lila Langford Cope.He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Baldwin Construction, Satterfield and Malphrus Construction Company. He was a member of Great Swamp Baptist Church and he enjoyed deer hunting.He is survived by his daughter, Joyce C. (Earl) Pope of Ridgeland, SC; grandson, Earl (Anna) Pope, Jr. of Ridgeland, SC; granddaughter, Christy (Lee) Drew of Rincon, GA; great grandchildren, Dustin Slowik, Chandler Drew, Hunter Drew, Reganne Drew, Skylar Pope, Wyatt Pope and Cooper Pope. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Cope and Elliott (Tookie) Cope and his sister, Emma C. Woods.Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm, Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 310 W. Adams Ave., Ridgeland, SC with burial in the Ridgeland Cemetery.
