William John Covell

William John Covell, 74 of Bluffton passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 in the Coastal Carolina Medical Center, Hardeeville, SC.He was born in Nanticoke, PA on March 27, 1937. He was the son of the late Alexander and Frances Wissinski Kovaleski. He grew up in Glen Lyon, PA and moved to Bluffton from Washington, DC in 2006. He was retired from the Department of Defense as a consultant. He was a life long golfer and avid Redskins fan. He was a graduate of Penn State University.He is survived by his son William (Rachel) Covell of Middletown, DE; two daughters, Lauren (Alan) Thomson of Stewartstown, PA and Colleen Covell of Denver, CO; one sister, Ellen Bowman of Charlotte, NC and three grandchildren, Duncan Covell, Benjamin Covell and John Finley Thomson.A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
