William Jonathan Eaton, Jr.

William Jonathan Eaton Jr., 45, of Hardeeville, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2026. We don't know why the Lord called him home at this time, but we do know where he is and that he will not suffer any longer. He was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed.

William was born on January 23, 1981, in Savannah, Georgia. He received his Associate's Degree in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning from the Technical College of the Low Country and worked in this field for many years. He was recently employed by Mobile Autobody, LLC of Ridgeland, South Carolina. William was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Jesup, Georgia, where he was recently active and dearly loved by his church family. He was a talented artist and had a love for writing that he mainly kept to himself. He cherished his children deeply.

William was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Edenfield Eaton.

He is survived by his mother, Lauri Rickard (Kerry) of Jesup, GA; his father, William J. Eaton Sr. of Daytona Beach, FL; his stepmother, Donna Magnani-Eaton of Mars Hill, NC; his son, Cameron Wyatt Eaton of Savannah, GA; his daughter, Alayla Capri Eaton of Hardeeville, SC; his sisters, Holly Brinson-Tatom of Pooler, GA, Laura “Christy” Eaton of Hinesville, GA, and Jenna Horton (Mike) of Winter Garden, FL. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and other extended family members who will forever cherish his memory.

Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland will be assisting the family with arrangements.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church in Jesup, Georgia.
