William John Finch "Chef Bill"

On July 23, 2021, William John Finch- “Chef Bill” of Bluffton, SC was given his wings and was welcomed into heaven after a brief illness. Bill was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on February 13, 1966. He has been reunited with his parents Thomas and Mary Ann Finch.

Bill is survived by his finance, Rebecca “Becky” Mastropole and their dog Jackie, his siblings; Thomas (Renie), Edward (Maritza), Peter (Lisa), Richard, Mary (John), Nancy (Mark), Susan (Timothy), Julie; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Bill was a caring and loving man. He was a master of his craft of cooking and worked many restaurants in Bluffton and Hilton Head. He never met a stranger. He was always there to give a helping hand and was loved by all who met him.

A Celebration of life for “Chef Bill” will be held for family and friends at Fish Casual Coastal Seafood restaurant in Coligny Plaza on August 12, 2021 @ 6:30pm.

As well all know “Chef Bill” was a “foodie” in lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made in memory of William “Chef Bill” John Finch to:
