William H. Floyd, Jr.

William H. Floyd, Jr., age 66, of Lexington, SC and formerly of Hardeeville, SC died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Lexington Medical Center. Mr. Floyd was born on February 27, 1948 in Beaufort, SC. He worked in the logistics industry as a truck driver for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Floyd, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Reba Ackerman Floyd; brothers, Raymond A. Floyd (Ann Gillespie) of Columbia, SC, Patrick Michael Floyd (Wendy) of St. Petersburg, FL, and Joseph A. Floyd (Kim) of Ridgeland, SC; and sister, Annie Reba Floyd of Indiana. A funeral service with military honors will take place at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC at a later date.
