William "Bill" G. Mcmoil

William G. McMoil, of Bluffton, SC left this world on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at home after a valiant struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 22, 1931 to the late William and Emma McMoil. His career was for many years overseas in several countries with USAID, and the US Department of State. Later, he was Director of Finance for PAHO/WHO in Washington, DC. He is an Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict. Bill is a former Commander of the Sun City Veterans Association and was a proud member of the Safety and Services Team of Sun City Hilton Head. You may have met him at the front gate. He is survived by his wife, Ruth McMoil of Bluffton; four children: Melissa McMoil of PA; William McMoil of VA; Seana McMoil of MD; and Michael McMoil of CA; and eleven grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Noon on Monday March 11, 2013 in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. No flowers, please. Please make donations to: UFPTI, Attn: Linda Sackett, 2015 N.
