William 'Bill' Haunert

William (Bill) Haunert, 73, passed away peacefully at Vineyard Bluffton Memory Care, Bluffton SC on 4/15/2022.

Bill grew up in Fort Thomas KY and graduated in 1970 from the University of Kentucky. He spent his working career as a banker in Ohio, Kentucky and Hilton Head SC.

Bill never met a stranger and cherished his time with friends from Kentucky, Ohio and South Carolina. He was a life long Kentucky Wildcat, enjoyed working in the yard and playing golf. He loved spending time with his family most of all.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol, and his sons BJ (Jennifer) Haunert of Camden SC and Bryan (Terri) Haunert of Spring Grove PA. He had three grandchildren, Julia and Will of Camden and Jackson of Spring Grove.

He is also survived by his sister Linda (Jim) Simpson of Cold Spring KY, his niece Shari (Lane) Taylor of Hamilton OH and his great nephew Logan Glover of Independence KY.

He was predeceased by his parents Bernard and Orma Haunert and his niece Laurie Glover.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 31 St Gregory Dr, Bluffton SC on 4/27/2022 at 10:30 AM with one hour of public visitation at the church before the Mass.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

A luncheon will be held at The Traditions at Old Carolina community club house, 4 Bridle Path Ln, Bluffton, immediately after the services.
