WILLIAM WILSON HENDRICKSON III Born November 15, 1945 to William and Vera Hendrickson in Cleveland, Ohio. Attended schools in Fairview Park, Ohio. Graduated Fairview High School in 1963. Graduated from Ohio State University in 1970 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Graduated from George Washington University in 1973 with a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Bill was a Life Fellow through the American College of Healthcare Executives. Bill was a veteran and served in the Air Force from 1965 – 1969. He served in leadership positions at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, Good Samaritan & Richard Young Hospitals in Kearney, Nebraska and St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He practiced as a healthcare consultant for the last 11 years. Following his extensive career in healthcare he retired to Bluffton, South Carolina in 2004 to the wonderful Belfair community. Bill loved participating in sports, especially golf. He was always a loyal fan of Nebraska and Ohio State football as well as the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers. He loved being with his family most of all, traveling, cooking and playing cards with friends and attending social events. He enjoyed frequent new car transactions. He is survived by his beloved wife Pat after 47 years of marriage. Son Michael Hendrickson of Dallas, Texas, daughter Erin Washington and husband Tom of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Grandsons Brendan Hendrickson, Jayden and Cade William Washington. Brother Robert Hendrickson and wife Jackie of Muskogee, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care of the LowCountry and American Cancer Society. A memorial visitation will be on Tuesday, May 17 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC from 5pm – 7pm EST. Mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, May 19 at 10:30 am at St. Gregory the Great Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC.
