William Hubbard

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved William (Bubba) Hubbard, Jr. He left this earth June 13, 2026 due to complications after an extended battle with cancer. He passed at his home, where he wanted to be, with his children by his side.

He was born February 19, 1962 in Savannah Georgia, but lived all his life in Bluffton, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia, his father Herman and his brother Kerry. He is survived by his children, Shannon Hubbard (Steve Novak) and Dustin Hubbard. His wife Gayle Hubbard, sisters Cathy Lamb and Shelly Strange(Jeff) Shannon's children, Savannah, Sabastian and Scarlett, Dustin's son Connor and Cathy's sons Zachary, Trey and Ben.

Bubba was a quiet man and was always willing to help anyone whenever he could. He loved his family unconditionally and doted on his grandchildren. He was an avid sportsman and loved hunting, fishing and being with family and friends .He will be missed by everyone who knew him. In lieu of sending flowers, Bubba requested donation be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital
