William Mink

William Mink, 78, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2009 at his home in Bluffton, SC.He was born in Oakmont, PA on November 30, 1930. He was the son of the late Henry and Margaret Adams Mink.He moved to the Bluffton area six years ago coming from Florida. He was a retired engineer with the Department of Defense. He was a member of the Sun City Golf Club; the Elks Club and the American Veterans. He was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer.He is survived by his wife, Irene M. Mink of Bluffton, SC; one brother, Henry Mink of Oakmont, PA; two sisters, Anna Grace (Roy) Heyl and Catherine Beckwith all of Oakmont, PA; one brother in law, Joseph W. (Laraine) Gregor of Laurel, MD; one sister in law, Florence (Frank) Halovanic of Dallas, TX and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Karen.The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC at noon on Thursday, July 16, 2009. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 am prior to the service beginning at Noon on Thursday.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
