Please help us honor and remember William who lived life characterized by dedication, love, and integrity. His passing has left a profound void in our lives but not our hearts, his legacy will continue to live on through the countless memories we've shared.
William was a man of faith, deeply rooted in a commitment to his beliefs as a Christian. He lived these values boldly and with extraordinary strength. He often spoke loudly about his faith, and those who knew him understood that it was his guiding light, providing a sense of serenity and purpose, and influencing the countless lives he touched.
William was member of Maye River Baptist Church for more than 50 years. He served as deacon, men’s brotherhood director, choir and anywhere else he was needed.
William started Padgett Plumbing Service in 1972 and has served the community with integrity. For more than six decades Padgett Plumbing Service has not only served the community honestly, but he has handed down knowledge that has impacted his children, grandchildren and others who have provided for their families and community.
Let us remember him as a man's man, who was ever-present at family gatherings, always ready with a smile, a warm hug, handshake, or a word of encouragement. We celebrate his life by cherishing the values he instilled in us: hard work, integrity, and an unwavering love for God and family.
As we say "see ya later" to William today, let us be comforted in the knowledge that his journey on this earth may have ended, but his spirit will continue to guide us. Let us honor him by living our lives with the same devotion, humility, love for God and family and keep his essence alive among us.
