William "Harry" Wood

William "Harry" Wood, 76, of Ridgeland, SC died December 13, 2014. Harry was born in Ponotoc, MS on October 4, 1938 the son of the late William Q "Bill" Wood and Sybil H Wood. He was a veteran of the United States National Guard. He worked for many years in the Industrial Sandblasting and Painting Industry and owned several businesses in this field. Mr. Wood is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn L Wood; sons, William H Wood, Jr. "Bill" of Mobile, AL , Geoff Wood of Wilmer, AL, Greg Wood (Regina) of Wilmer, AL, step sons Mark Gunn of Ridgeland, SC, Jimmy Holt of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Gwendolyn Miller (Jerry) of Wiggins, MS, Jennifer Harvey (Robert) of Mobile, AL, step-daughter, Nicole Holt of Ridgeland, SC; Nineteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Brother, Jerry Wood of Semmes, AL. Memorial service will be held at Spirit of Life Ministries, 235 Chanel Drive, Varnville, SC. on Wednesday December 17th at 2pm.
