Willie Mae Bryan

Willie Mae Bryan, 90, of Hardeeville, SC passed away on October 7, 2021 at NHC. Prior to Ms. Bryan’s admission to NHC, she lived with her daughter Rhonda and grandson Matthew. Willie Mae was born in Hardeeville, SC on December 29, 1930 to the late Lester M. Cooler and Nell Cooler. She was a devoted member of Red Dam Baptist Church and she provided bookkeeping for several different firms in the lowcountry. Willie Mae’s greatest joy was caring for her many beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Charles Albert Cooler, Jr. of Ridgeland, SC, 3 daughters, Rhonda Tanner of Ridgeland, SC, Barbara Young of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Deborah DeLong (Rick) of Lady’s Island, SC, a daughter-in-law, Chris Cooler of Lewistown, MT, a sister, Shirley Shuman of Savannah, GA, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Wayne Cooler, two daughters, Rose Marie Cooler, Jeanette Ann Cooler, and a sister, Doris Malphrus.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Red Dam Baptist Church in Hardeeville, SC with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
