Yolanda Bibbo

Yolanda Bibbo, 81, of Somers, New York, and a 16 year resident of Hilton Head Island, passed away July 5, 2014 in Hilton Head, South Carolina after a brief illness. Yolanda was born in The Bronx, N.Y. to Joseph and Angelina Gallo and is an alumnist of Hunter College, New York. She is survived by her loving husband Leonard, sisters Catherine Maloney of California, and Mary Cutillo of Florida; daughters Elena and husband Dallas, Teresa and husband Frank, Marianne and husband Greg, sons Frank and wife Bonnie, Leonard Jr. and wife Michele; and Christopher Bibbo; in addition there are four granddaughters three grandsons and one newly born great-granddaughter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to niece Dr. Dominique Broccoli, Dr. Paul Saccon MD, Radiation Oncologist of Lewis Cancer Center, and THA Group Island Hospice Center for their support in her final days. Funeral services will be held at St. Francis by the Sea Roman Catholic Church on Beach City Road on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 10:30 am.
