Aidan Harrison passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 12, 2021. He was 14 years old.
Aidan was an amazing person. He was intelligent, sensitive, passionate, and cared deeply for not only his friends and family but for people in general. Aidan played football, lacrosse and was becoming an avid skateboarder. He was more than musically gifted, playing the guitar, the bass, the drums, the ukulele, and the piano. He wrote and recorded his own music, including lyrics, and spent hours playing all genres but was definitely a huge Nirvana fan. There is a hole in our hearts and the world that Aidan's music will not continue to flourish and be heard.
Aidan had a tight group of friends in the community and was extremely close to his family, including his father, Jon Harrison, his mother, Jamie Harrison, and his sister, Olivia Harrison, who always said the two were more like “twins."
Aidan was attending his freshman year at Bluffton High School in Bluffton, South Carolina, where he had resided for the last 10 years. He was born in Royal Oak, Michigan, where many family members still reside, including his Grandparents, Robert and Patricia Wolff, his Aunt and Uncle, Tammy and Ron Pierce and their children, Adam and Sean Pearce, and his Uncle and Aunt, Jason and Erica Wolff, and cousins, Bobby, Bella, and Patrick Wolff. Additionally, Aidan was survived by his Great-Grandmother Dolores Snyder, his Grandparents, Michael Woizeschke and Karen Harrison, his Aunt and Uncle, Jamie and Chris Wilder and cousins, Maddison, Leah, and Kellan Wilder.
Aidan will be missed by everyone he touched.
A Memorial will be held on Friday, August 20th, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Evicore Healthcare Park in Bluffton, South Carolina. Refreshments will be available from 7:00pm to 7:30 pm, with a ceremony from 7:30 to 8:00pm and a slideshow with all his favorite music at sunset, 8:02 pm.
All are welcome to attend.
