Anne Louise Quigley

Anne Louise Prescott Quigley passed away on 25 December 2021.  She was born to William D. and June B. Prescott on 13 February 1947 in Pottsville, PA.  She was an accomplished horsewoman and showed Tennessee Walking Horses for several years. Anne was an alumnus of Lebanon Valley College earning a BS degree in Economics. She later worked for Hess’ Department Store. She and her husband of 43 years, James F. Quigley, lived in Allentown, PA for many years before moving to Bluffton, SC.  Anne was an avid golfer and active in the Bluffton branches of Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, her parents and her sister, Joan Prescott Cowan. She is survived by her nieces Nancy Berlin, Katie Caldwell and Frances Wood, and their families.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Thursday, January 20, 2022 at St. Andrew’s Chapel followed by internment in the Resurrection Gardens at St. Gregory’s Church in Bluffton, SC.
