Arthur Fitzgerald Holmes

Arthur Fitzgerald Holmes, 56, of Beaufort, South Carolina passed away in Adams County, Colorado on Thursday, June 3, 2021. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am, Monday, June 14, 2021 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams Street, Ridgeland, SC. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at Noon on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.

Arthur was born on July 24, 1964 in Beaufort, South Carolina to James Holmes and Christine Porter. He was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly recalled his years of service. Arthur also spent many years as a Correctional Officer for the Correctional Service of Canada.  

Arthur is survived by his three children, son Zachary Holmes of Missouri, daughter Cierra Jordan of Colorado, and daughter Kiah Brewer of British Columbia. He is also survived by his father James, brothers Carl Porter, James Porter, Gregory Holmes, Christopher Holmes,  Michael Holmes, and sisters Janet Saunders, Charlene Porter, Rachell Moultrie. He is preceded in death by his mother Christine and brothers Levi Porter and Elton Holmes.

Arthur was a wandering spirit and is finally at peace.
