Bobbie Jean Litton of Beaufort South Carolina became an Angel on the 18th of April 2023 at the age of 42. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones at the time of death. The cause of death was due to a nine-month battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and ultimately succumbed to Pneumonia.
She was born in Toccoa, GA. on the 4th of April 1981 and was preceded in death by her father Bobby McConnell. She is survived by her husband Virgil Litton, daughter Sophia Litton, step-daughters Abigail and Anna Litton, step-sons Evan Litton, Conlan Schlaeppi, her mother Sandra Ledford, sisters Rebecca Chastain, Sondra McCarthy, nieces Ashley Whitmire, Courtney Quarles and nephew Jayden Harmon.
She served in federal service as a Financial Management Analyst and worked on multiple military installations to include over-seas. She was always involved in community involvement such as cheer, school and neighborhood events but her ultimate passion was fostering children and giving back.
She sends the warmest thank you and appreciation to all those who sent thoughts, prayers and contributions during her battle with ALS. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor her selfless, beautiful contributions to us all.
