Charlene L. (Long) Harris

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charlene L. Harris (Long), 71, of Bluffton, SC, on September 30, 2023. She was born on February 20, 1952, in Loma Linda, California.She grew up in California and attended San Carlos High school in her youth. Charlene was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Charlene was known for her generous spirit and love for animals. She had a friendly and caring nature, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her kind-heartedness touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered as someone who made a positive impact on those around her. In her free time, Charlene enjoyed spending time with her family and creating lasting memories. She cherished her children, Stephanie and Tarina, and was a loving mother who always put their needs first. She was also a proud grandmother to her grandsons Brandon, Kaleb, and Ayden who held a special place in her heart, bringing joy and laughter to her days. 
Charlene was preceded in death by her loving parents, Alfred and Eileen Long. She is survived by Her Daughters Stephanie Green (Karl) of Bluffton, SC and Tarina Harris of Roanoke, VA, her sister, Colleen Heck of Prunedale, CA and her Nephews Alfred and Chris Heck.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loved ones. A private family service will be held on October 14th, 2023, to honor and celebrate Charlene's life. Charlene will be remembered for her loving nature, caring spirit, and she will be deeply missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
