Obituary
Christopher “Corey” Eaton of Bluffton, SC passed away at home on March 2, 2023 after a valiant battle with cancer surrounded by his family.
Corey was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on August 13, 1972 to Kirk and Trudy Eaton. He was raised in Marietta, Georgia and moved to Bluffton, SC in 2019. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Geoffrey; two aunts, four cousins and numerous family friends.
Corey graduated from Mount Paran Christian School in 1991 and attended Brevard College in North Carolina and Ellsworth College, in Iowa where he played baseball. He had worked in the computer technologies industry and was always willing to help friends and family with their technology issues.
Having a soft spot for all dogs, Corey enjoyed walking and taking dogs for golf cart rides around Old Town Bluffton.
Corey will be fondly remembered for his kindness, sincerity and appreciative nature.
A celebration of his remarkable life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Red Cross, Hospice Care of the Lowcountry or a charity of your choice.
