Cynthia Ann Adams

Cynthia Ann Adams age 58, of Hilton Head Island and wife of Victor M. Adams passed away at Beaufort Memorial Hospital after a courageous fight with cancer.

Cynthia was born in Roanoke, Virginia on December 21, 1961 to the late Robert Edward Pollard and Janice Rayborne Musser Pollard.

Cynthia moved to the lowcountry in 1977 where she met her husband, Victor.  Cynthia was a patient care coordinator for Charleston Ear, Nose and Throat where she enjoyed the patients as well as her fellow employees.  She loved shopping for her granddaughter, Haley; enjoyed cooking and camping with her family.  She was a Baptist.

In addition to her husband, Victor, Cynthia is survived by her son, Stephens Manly Sheffield III ‘Tripp’ of Okatie, SC; her daughter, Amanda Lynn Thumb (Chris) of Atlanta, GA; her sisters, Tracy Jo Gioffre (John) of Bluffton, SC and Deborrah Lou Ann Koerner (Don) of Okatie, SC; her grandchildren, Haley Elaine Sheffield, Katie Thumb and Jack Thumb and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Robert Edward Pollard Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 27, 2020 in Lowcountry Memorial Gardens, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton.  Memorials may be sent to the Hilton Head Humane Society in memory of Cynthia Ann Adams or flowers are appreciated.
