Debra Kay Anderson Drew, 63, of Ridgeland, SC passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 at her home.
Debra was born July 6, 1959 in Dyersburg, TN to Jack Anderson and Jessie Mai Branch Anderson. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother, who took great pride in raising her children. She enjoyed spending time outside, dancing, singing karaoke, and playing with her grandchildren.
Debra is survived by her daughters, Shannon Hamilton (Dishan) of Ridgeland and Nicole Starnes (Scott Colian) of Bluffton, SC; step-son, Clayton Drew of Ridgeland; step-daughter, Kimmie Drew of Texas; brothers, Joel F. Anderson, Rick Anderson, and Kerry Lynn Anderson; sister, Charlene Swiger; grandchildren, Kelle Drew, Katie Drew, Cassidy Starnes, Dishan “Woodie” Hamilton, Carolina Sutton, and Emma Colian; five great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, William James Drew, and her brothers, Bubba Anderson, Donnie Lee Anderson, and Tony Anderson.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland with burial to follow in Ridgeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm—7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the funeral home.
