Dinnia T. (Thomas) Sprouse

Dinnia (Dana) T. Sprouse, born on November 7th,1948 passed away on January 16th, 2023 after a fierce battle with cancer. Dana lived most of her life in The Greenville area of South Carolina. 1989 brought her and her family to the lowcountry where she happily remained until her passing. She was a devoted wife who supported her husbands passion for coaching high school football. Dana was a caring mother who never failed to do any and everything to help her three children when they needed her. As a grandmother and great-grand mother she got the joy of loving and spoiling each child. Dana was the oldest of seven siblings. Anyone who met her will tell you that she was kind and generous to a fault.

Dana is predeceased by her parents William “Bill” Thomas and Betty Farnsworth and Halley Sterling (granddaughter).

Dana is survived by her husband Coach Harry Sprouse, her three children; Michelle Sterling, Michael Pace (Devon), and Heather Grenning (Kurt), 8 grand children and 6 great-grand children.

A celebration of Dana's life will be held on January 28th at Saul's Funeral Home in Ridgeland, SC at 2 PM. The family will receive friends after the service at Sauls Funeral Home.

 A second service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home at 313 N Main St, Simpsonville, SC on February 4th at 2 PM.
