Savannah, GA- Donald "Donny" Luciano, passed away on November 3rd, 2020 at the age of 56. A native of Greensboro, NC and resident of Bluffton, SC, he was the son of SFC Manuel John Luciano and Verdie Carol Luciano.
Donny was a world traveler, bartender, and a jack of all trades. He was a drummer with several different drum circles in Charleston SC. He was a member of the band Steel Pterodactyl. He was a part of the Mulberry Street Trattoria Restaurant Family in Bluffton. Donny was a member of Bikers Against Bullies USA Beaufort, SC Chapter
Donny had a passion for drumming, riding motorcycles, being at the beach, and kayaking. Donny was known for his free spirit, his ability to dance, and for his quick wit and humor. Donny had an infectious smile, a huge love of family and friends, and a compassionate spirit. He made an impact on all the lives that he touched and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Paulette, his four children, Vania, John, Gabriel, and Sterling. Donny is also survived by his three grandchildren Lillian, Anthony and Logan. He is survived by his three siblings, Ron, Arlene, and Angie, his nieces Annette, Alysha, Celina, and nephew William. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life for family and friends in the Bluffton/Hilton Head, SC area. There will also be a celebration of life for family and friends in Greensboro, NC. In true Donny fashion we will keep you posted.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations go to Bikers Against Bullies USA and earmark it for the Beaufort, SC Chapter in remembrance of Donny “Donzi” Luciano.
