Edwin M. Feeley, of Bluffton, SC (formerly of North Reading, MA), died at home on March 4, 2021 at the age of 77. He was the husband of Gail (Dutney) Feeley. Born in Medford, MA, he was the son of the late Peter and Winifred (Feeley) Connors.
Edwin “Ed” was a graduate of Malden Catholic high school and attended Merrimack College, where he played basketball. He was a proud Navy veteran. Ed worked for 30 years at Mass Envelope in Somerville, MA. before retiring to Bluffton, SC.
Ed was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his beloved Boston teams. He loved to read books, play golf, reminisce with his buddies and spend time with his grandchildren.
Ed was loved and admired by all fortunate enough to know him. He was a kind and good man with a deep personal integrity and a strong moral compass. As well as his loving family, he held valued relationships with people from many walks of life. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
In addition to his beloved wife, Gail, he is survived by his three devoted sons, Pete Feeley and his wife JoAnne of Peabody, Edwin Feeley Jr. and his wife Laurie of Haverhill, MA., and Jack Feeley of Saugus; two loving daughters, Kathleen Resendes and her husband Joe of Tewksbury, Colleen Allen and her husband William of Holly Ridge, NC; his siblings Peggy Daniels, Kathy Arbing; grandchildren, Katielyn D’Amico, Stephen D’Amico, Michael D’Amico, William Allen Jr., Harley Allen and Christopher Therault;; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Peter Feeley.
