Eleanor "Mickey" Frederick

Eleanor (Mickey) Frederick, 99 passed away on May 12, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Lewis Frederick and her son Timothy. She is survived by her sons David Frederick (Pamela) of Bluffton, South Carolina and Stephen Frederick (Lora) of Fairborn, Ohio; grandchildren Elizabeth Norman and Dakota Scott and two great grandchildren Madison and Alex Norman.

Micky was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Leon and Anna McMillen and raised in Pontiac, Michigan. She graduated from nursing school and was head OB Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio where she met her husband Lewis Frederick (Freddie) who was an OB/GYN doctor. They were married and raised their family in Dayton, Ohio. Upon Freddie’s retirement, they moved to Fort Myers, Florida and spent many happy years there. After Freddie’s death, Mickey lived in Indianapolis, Indiana and Bluffton, South Carolina to be near family.  Mickey enjoyed traveling the world, reading, bridge, British mysteries, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  The Frederick Family wants to acknowledge the wonderful care Mickey received from The Seabrook, The Vineyard and Crescent Hospice in the final year of her life.
