Gail Toboada

Gail Taboada of Sun City, South Carolina passed away on her birthday 6/24/2020.  Gail will be fondly remembered for her quick wit and unique sense of humor and often reminding others within “earshot” stating: “I crack myself up”.  She lit up a room with her eyes and her smile.  She loved to host parties, entertain, and make everyone feel welcome.  She continued her family legacy of “rolling in dough” by devoting her free time to cooking and baking.  She was a force to be reckoned with at the poker, pinochle or canasta table and her philosophy was win big or go home!  She was an integral part of the SunCity TV family, volunteering her time every week for the last 14 years.

Prior to retirement, she took great pride in her work at Tiffany and Co. She loved her coworkers, who became very special friends before and after her retirement.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Adolfo Taboada; daughter Lisa Meyers, and son Steven Friedman. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Friedman; her brother Barry Sperling (Sonia); her son in law David Meyers, her grandchildren Michael Friedman and Lily Wisset; special step son Tomas Taboada, step grandchildren Issac and Reiss, nieces, great niece and great nephews, and many wonderful friends who became family.  

May all who knew and loved Gail be covered in the warmth and love of a life worth celebrating;  yet, deeply mourned.

A graveside service for the family will be conducted Sunday June 28 2020 at 11 am.  Friends are invited to stream the service live at www.saulsfh.com 

In lieu of flowers,  the family requests donations to be made in Gail’s memory to Hadassah 42 Strattford Village Way, Bluffton, SC 29909.
