George Sidney Khouri

George S. Khouri, age 78 passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, April 22, 2021. He is survived by his wife Robin Gayle Khouri of 45 years, his 2 daughters Heather Delamarter (James), and Caitlin McNiece (Blake), as well as his two grandchildren Alexander Delamarter and Chandler McNiece. 

George was born on August 10, 1942, in St. Petersburg, Florida to the late George W. Khouri, Sr. and Florence E. Khouri. George was a graduate of St. Petersburg HS and Florida State University with a B.A. in International Relations & Affairs, Government.

 George went on to enjoy a successful career path in medical sales, working for companies like Johnson & Johnson, Cigna, & Coderyte Inc. which led him to relocations in New Orleans, Louisiana, Brighton, Michigan, Carlsbad, California, Atlanta, Georgia and most recently  Bluffton, South Carolina with 3M Health Care Group for the past 15 years. George was recognized many times throughout his profession but he saved the best for last, being named as 3M Sales Solution Executive of the year. George was the consummate sales professional. "Let me know the objective, get out of my way, and let me go sell" was the attitude he took with himself every day. 

When George wasn't in his office or traveling with his valued colleagues, he was a total sports enthusiast alongside his loving wife and pups playing and watching tennis, meeting up with close family and lifelong friends to watch and attend sports events, such as his love for baseball and football. George enjoyed great food and fine wine which were poured over conversations about sports & team players, politics, travels and fond childhood memories.

 George had a gift for never forgetting someone's name and always took away something memorable of that person to whom he met or read about. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Friend and Mentor. Dad, may we never forget your name and may we continue to share fond memories of you often. 

A private celebration of life will be held this summer in West Virginia. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Humane Society.
