Gregory K Sinclair passed away peacefully May 16, 2021, at Bloom at Bluffton. He was 82. Greg was born on December 10, 1938 at Cornwall on the Hudson, New York, the son of Russell Sinclair and Dorothy Jones Sinclair.
Greg moved all over the United States and world with his Air Force Engineer father, including the island of Trinidad. His family finally landed in Chandler, AZ, where his father was the head engineer at Luke Air Force base. He often laughed at the need to run quickly from place to place in the summer heat across the sizzling Air Force base blacktop.
Greg graduated from Chandler High School, AZ in 1958, and then attended the University of Arizona’s school of Pharmacy in Tucson, AZ. He graduated in 1962. He then moved to southern California, where he worked as a pharmacist and met Ann Zawistowski. They married on February 13, 1964. In 1980, the family moved to Vermont, and in 2008, Greg and Ann moved to Bluffton, South Carolina to retire. They celebrated 57 years of marriage in February, 2021. Greg was an avid gardener, swimmer and reader. He volunteered for the Democratic party and worked as recently on the 2016 national presidential election.
Gregory was predeceased by his parents and his son, Adam Sinclair. In addition to his wife, Greg is survived by his daughter, Shaun Sinclair-Stept and her husband, Glenn Stept; their four children, Hunter, Ashley, Katherine and Carson of Coral Springs, FL; son, Patrick Sinclair. Greg is also survived by his brother, Richard Sinclair and his wife Connie; sister Claudia Roy and her husband, James; great uncle, Robert Sinclair.
