Jessee Miles Williams

Jessee Miles Williams, born on June 22, 1968 to Roy Miles Williams, Sr. and Barbara Annice Crosby in Hampton County. He left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on January 16th, 2023 at 54 years old. He fought a hard battle with pancreatic cancer and had complications in the end. He had accepted Jesus as his Savior and was baptized. He had such a deep love of family and fishing. If you couldn’t find him, you could guarantee he was on the river. He made his living as a tree climber for over 30 years. He loved what he did and was very good at it. He never met a stranger and would give the shirt off of his back. He loved his animals, everyone he took care of for many years. He was the backbone of the family and everyone is at a great loss.

He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Mellisa Williams, four children: Santana Ramirez (Fermin) of Ridgeland, SC, Teddy Williams (Miranda) of Varnville, SC, Shane Williams (Amber) of Ridgeland, SC, and Andy Williams (Rhonda) of Nixville, SC. His father, Roy Miles Williams Sr. Seven siblings: Brenda Heisler (Jay) of Alabama, Clinton Williams (Tammy) of Grays, SC, Kathy Cook (Allen) of Cummings, SC, Krista Williams (John) of Cross, SC, Roy Williams, Jr. (Sandy) of Grays, SC, Mandy Blatchley, and Courtney Williams (Michael) both of Ridgeland, SC. Thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. A heap of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara, sister Elizabeth, nephew Geoff, niece Tiffani, step mother Gale, brother in law Keefe and grandson Brayden. “He caught 'em all.”

Memorial services will be held at Harmony Baptist Church in Fairfax, SC at 1pm, Saturday, January 21st, 2023.
